Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust: Death, Remembrance and Ceramics


From tiled tombstones to bone china caskets, this talk by Kate Cadman, our Collections Curator, will explore the significant role that ceramics have played in our mourning rituals and memorials for over two centuries.

This talk is part of our Twilight Tales - an exciting series of talks over one week where our in-house experts explore the horrible history of Halloween.

Timings: The talk begins at 6:30pm and will finish at 7:30pm, followed by questions before the event comes to a close at 8pm.
