front of house & retail team leader (seasonal)

We're looking for someone with experience working in a customer service environment to help us maintain a high level of service while promoting our museums and items in museum gift shops. Please note, access to a vehicle is required.

Salary: £24,046
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am-2:30pm, and Saturday to Sunday, 11am-3pm (to end 29 September 2024)

LEARNING FACILITATOR (CASUAL)

We're looking for someone to help deliver our learning programme to school groups at all Key Stages across all of the Trusts sites. The post holder will deliver workshops and activities based around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM), Design and Technology (D&T), History and digital learning.

Salary: £11.50 p/h
Hours: variable, as and when

We're recruiting a cleaner, to work across the Museum sites, ensuring that front- and back-of house areas are clean, inline with our standards and that cleaning stocks are maintained.

events officer

You will help the Events Manager to develop, deliver, facilitate and evaluate an engaging and relevant events and visitor engagement programme across the Museums.

Salary: £26,000
Hours: 36.5 hours pw, fixed term contract for 6 months from start date

CHEF

You will work closely with our Executive Chef while taking the lead in the creation of recipes. You will also effectively manage and guide our kitchen team whilst ensuring the restaurant meets all hygiene, and health and safety regulations.

Salary: £32,000

kitchen porter

Working under the guidance of the Head Chef, your job will include carrying out basic food preparation tasks, washing up kitchen equipment and restaurant crockery and cutlery, and helping to clear Front of House areas.

maintenance assistant - conserving the historic estate project

In this role you will assist with planned maintenance tasks on museum sites and buildings as part of our extensive programme of repair and conservation projects. This role is an ideal training opportunity for someone looking to develop their maintenance skills.

Salary: £22,000
Hours: Full-time, fixed two year contract with an opportunity to extend subject to funding

casual events staff

We are seeking passionate part-time front of house event staff to help with the running of our corporate and banqueting events. The ideal candidates will show a passion for delivering excellent customer service and high standards of food service.

Salary: NMW/NLW
Hours: As and when required, predominantly evenings and weekends
