Magical Mechanical Toys

Inspired by Coalbrookdale’s history as an engineering hub, in this special workshop children will get the chance to make their own mechanical toy using a series of moving parts including cams, levers and springs.

They will see how traditional toys were made and leave with their own unique toy they have made themselves.

Timings: 11am, 12p, 1pm and 2pm 

Date: Wednesday 30 July to Sunday 31 August

Location: Enginuity 

Tickets: £3 per person, plus museum admission

Suitable for age 5+. Children over 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

Four one-hour sessions daily.

PASS PLUS holders and Friends of IGMT can park in our IGMT car park for free when attending this event by validating their PASS PLUS at the front desk when they arrive.
