Blists Hill's Spring Clean

Relying on coal fires for heat and oil lamps for lighting meant that spring cleaning was a must for the house-proud Victorians!

On Saturday 27 April and Sunday 28 April at Blists Hill Victorian Town you'll be able to see our Victorian townsfolk complete their annual spring clean, with feather dusters and carpet beaters aplenty. 

Fancy getting stuck in? Why not try your hand at some traditional cleaning techniques.

Don't worry, it won't be all work and no play! With all the furniture piled in the street, we think it's the perfect opportunity to have a game of musical chairs, don't you?

Join us from 12pm to see if you have what it takes to be crowned our musical chairs champion. Winners will receive a special prize.

No pre-booking necessary. Standard entry to Blists Hill Victorian Town required.

PASS PLUS holders and Friends can park in our IGMT car park for free when attending this event by validating their PASS PLUS at the front desk when they arrive.
