Join the Friends' for this talk by Chris Pickford exploring foundry processes – past and present; the history of bellfounding (especially in the Midlands); and about the bells (as examples of different periods and founders) in the Telford area, including Dawley, Coalbrookdale, Madeley and Broseley; plus Coalbrookdale’s own excursions into making cast iron bells.
