How do you turn a good idea into something people want to buy? And how do you make money out of it?

For the early innovators everything had to be invented.  This included: marketing, supply chains, promotions, financial systems and distribution networks.  All were essential if they were to bring products to market and monetise their inventions.

In this unusual talk, Paul Green draws on his experience as a serial technology innovator and entrepreneur to help explore the personal, business and social pressures that influenced the industrial pioneers and shaped the eco-system in Ironbridge Gorge and eventually the world.
