China Painting for Beginners

During this workshop in the Studio at Coalport China Museum, you will take inspiration from the beautiful china examples on display in the museum before our talented team introduce you to the art of china painting.

You will have the opportunity to paint a floral motif on bone china before trying to recreate the famous Broseley Green Dragon design.

Your items will be fired and ready for collection 3-4 weeks later. Postage can be arranged for an additional cost, please enquire on the day.

This workshop is suitable for those aged 16+.

Please arrive from 10:45am for an 11am start. All materials and refreshments will be provided and you are advised to bring your own lunch.

Aprons are provided however we recommend dressing appropriately (in older, warmer clothing and closed-toe shoes) for the workshop as you may get messy.
