A potted history of Enginuity
Enginuity is located in the former offices, assembly shops and warehouses of the Coalbrookdale Company. In its time, the Coalbrookdale Ironworks was considered the largest foundry in the world, and produced a vast range of iron objects that travelled across the globe.
Enginuity was the first museum in the UK to have a Fabrication Lab, or FabLab. Today the FabLab is used to develop new products using state-of-the-art digital manufacturing equipment.
