Accessible Vehicle Appeal
In early 2025 we launched an appeal to raise funds for all-terrain mobility scooters and an electric vehicle to help visitors with mobility challenges navigate Blists Hill Victorian Town.
We secured funding from trusts and foundations and introduced the first mobility scooter in April, with two more to follow in the summer of 2025.
This is a huge step forward in making our museums more accessible to all, and the feedback from visitors has been fantastic.
We are continuing to raise money to purchase an electric vehicle. Businesses or trusts that would like to sponsor one or get involved with the Trust’s work in other ways can email corporatepartnerships@ironbridge.org.uk
