Which car parks are free with the PASS PLUS and which must I pay for?

Your PASS PLUS gives you free parking at the private car parks that belong to the Trust. These are located at:

  • Blists Hill Victorian Town
  • Enginuity
  • Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron & The Old Furnace
  • Jackfield Tile Museum
  • Coalport China Museum

The car parks in Ironbridge located next to the Museum of the Gorge and the Iron Bridge and Tollhouse are owned by Telford & Wrekin and have separate parking charges and conditions.

We use Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) at all of our Museum-owned car parks. We record the registration numbers of vehicles entering and leaving a site and calculate a charge based on the length of stay. The tariff is £1.50 per hour up to a maximum of £6. There is a 30 minute free period to allow pick-up & drop-off.

You can pay for parking with a debit/credit card at machines on-site or online within 48 hours of your visit.

Income generated from car parking helps us to carry out our twin charitable aims of education and heritage conservation.

Where possible, we offer free Blue Badge parking. Please speak to our front of house team upon arrival.

PASS PLUS holders can park in any IGMT car park for free during their daytime visit. Simply show your PASS PLUS at the front desk when you arrive at any of our sites to receive a free parking voucher with a code you can enter at the parking machine. T&Cs apply.

If you believe you have received a parking fine in error (for example, you are entitled to free parking as you are a PASS PLUS holder), please contact us at tic@ironbridge.org.uk . Please provide your PWE reference number and registration along with your PASS PLUS number. We will contact Park with Ease on your behalf to have the charge cancelled.

If you have a Blue Badge, please inform the front of house staff who will take your registration and exempt you from parking charges.

Motorhome parking is available at all IGMT's museums, please follow signs for coach parking.
