Educational Visits
The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust is a heritage conservation and education charity that prides itself on delivering an excellent learning experience that extends beyond classrooms and helps teachers deliver many different aspects of the National Curriculum in a creative and inspiring way.
The quality of our workshops have been recognised by the Heritage Education Trust through the Sandford Award, the quality mark for heritage learning, which has been awarded to our learning activities at Blists Hill Victorian Town, Jackfield Tile Museum and Coalbrookdale Museums.
When visiting our museums students have the opportunity to expand their understanding of many different subjects, including history, art, STEAM, English and geography. We offer learning opportunities for all key stages and all sessions can be adapted for pupils with additional needs.
