Ludlow Charity Race Day

Venue: Ludlow Racecourse, Bromfield, Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 2BT

We are thrilled that the Ironbridge Gorge Museums have been chosen as the charity fundraising beneficiary for Ludlow Charity Race Day, on Wednesday 18 March at Ludlow Racecourse, Shropshire.

Situated in the beautiful Shropshire countryside with views of the Clee Hill and beyond, Ludlow Racecourse is one of the few privately owned and arguably one of the friendliest racecourses in the country. The course retains its Edwardian character and also its strong club atmosphere.

As part of this exciting day we will be hosting a fundraising luncheon which will include a 3 course lunch, champagne raffle, plus a very exciting silent auction and live auction!

Tickets for the luncheon are priced at £75 per head with tables of 10 or individual tickets available. We also have some exciting sponsorship opportunities available, which includes:

£5,000 – Sponsorship of Live Auction

  • Company name on all social media promotion from the moment of sign-up
  • One full page ad in the race card
  • Dedicated page on silent auction screens during lunch
  • Recognition within the programme for the day
  • Silver corporate patron/private patron membership of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s Patron Society for 12 months

£1,500 – Sponsor of Champagne Raffle

  • Recognition within the programme of the day
  • Company logo or individual name on the printed Museum raffle cards
  • Iron corporate patron/private patron membership of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s Patron Society for 12 months

£150 – Full Page Race Day Programme Advert

  • 60-word description of company, plus company contact details, logo, website and social media links

£75 – Half Page Race Day Programme Advert

  • 30-word description of company, plus company contact details, logo, website and social media links

To book a table or tickets and enquire about sponsorship opportunities, please email the Fundraising Team or call 01952 435 900.

Funds raised from the race day will vitally help to fund the Trust’s ongoing heritage conservation and education programmes and our Fund for the Future appeal, which will help us to preserve and protect our heritage buildings and ancient monuments at our historic site at Coalbrookdale, home of Abraham Darby’s Old Furnace, the Museum of Iron & Enginuity. You can find out more about Fund for the Future here.

If you are unable to join us for the Fundraising Luncheon but would like to come along to the Race Day you can buy tickets now at the Ludlow Racecourse website.
