World Heritage Festival Community Days

As part of the ‘Festival of Imagination’ that returns to the Ironbridge Gorge between 12-27 September, we are giving away 4,000 free tickets for Blists Hill Victorian Town, over four days, to people who live in TF postcodes.

The first 1,000 tickets will be handed out to mark the launch of the Festival of Imagination on 12 September, and will be open to residents in the TF7, TF8 and TF12 postcodes (Sat 12 September is now full and there's no further availability for that day). These postcodes have been chosen because they cover residents living within the World Heritage Site boundary and we wanted to give those residents a special treat to mark this wonderful festival.

A further 1,000 free tickets are also available on each day from 16-18 September to anyone with a TF postcode (Fri 18 September is now full and there's no further availability for that day). This is a great opportunity for locals to come and visit our open-air museum and see why the story we tell at Blists Hill Victorian Town is such an important part of our national heritage.

The tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis for timed entry slots at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm - visitors can stay at the museum until we close at 5pm. No other timeslots or dates are available.

Visitors will be required to produce a utility bill with an eligible postcode and bookings will be restricted to a maximum of five people per household (two adults maximum and no more than three children). Any additional family members will need to buy an Annual Pass to visit at the same time.

The Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Festival is always a huge success and this year it will feature a number of events, such as art trails, ‘walk the gorge’, poetry performances and many others. Some events will be streamed online, so more people can take part this year from the comfort of their own home. See more at the Festival website.
