Space Rockets


Be inspired by our temporary exhibition, From Stars to Cells: The Life of Iron, and make your own Space Rocket in this summer activity!

Design the body of the rocket, add a nose cone and a tail fin, then add some energy to see how far it will fly. 

Suitable for children aged 5+ (adult supervision and help required).  All materials and resources supplied. 

Timings: 11am, 1pm, 3pm

Dates: Saturday 10 August until Sunday 1 September

Location: Enginuity, Coalbrookdale

£3 per person plus standard museum entry (museum entry free to PASS PLUS holders and Friends). Children can be accompanied by one free adult. Any additional adults require a ticket.

PASS PLUS holders and Friends can park in our IGMT car park for free when attending this activity by validating their PASS PLUS at the front desk when they arrive.
