International Garden Photographer of the Year Exhibition

Jackfield Tile Museum

See the stunning, free entry, International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition (IGPOTY) at Ironbridge as part of its worldwide tour.  Showcasing the beauty and importance of a green planet, the exhibition in the Fusion Gallery, adjacent to Jackfield Tile Museum is open from 3 May until 17 September (10am-4pm).

IGPOTY is the world’s most prestigious global photography competition for garden, plant and botanical photography and is open to all ages, amateurs and professionals.

The exhibition in the Fusion Gallery, at Jackfield Tile Museum features the winners of Competition 11, which attracted some 19,000 individual entries from over 50 countries. The winning image from the competition, Cerrado Sunrise by Marcio Cabral of Brazil (above) is part of the exhibition.

Whilst you are visiting the exhibition, make sure you pop into the Jackfield Tile Museum, where you will find amazing displays of tiles, a wonderful cafe and tempting shop.

Supported by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, IGPOTY aims to champion photography both as an art form and as a mode of communication helping to strengthen the bond between people, plants, gardens and nature as well as broaden public understanding of the natural world.
