Animal Magic at Coalport

Coalport China Museum

Come along to Coalport China Museum during the spring half-term holiday and work your magic to sculpt or paint your favourite animals at the drop-in ceramic workshops. Afterwards explore the museum’s many galleries.

Fri 24 - Sat 1 June (excl Sun & Thurs):

Taking inspiration from your own pets at home, or animals living in the wild such as lions, elephants and giraffes, try sculpting a creature of your choice from air-drying clay. These sessions will take place from 11am until 2pm.

Sun 26, Thurs 30 May and Sun 2 June:

These workshops, running from 11am until 5pm, will focus on decorating a ceramic money box, fridge magnet or paper plate using quick drying paint.

The clay sculpting sessions carry a charge of £2 per item, while the ceramic painting is priced from £1; the paper activities are included in your admission fee. Whichever session you join, finished items can be taken home with you on the day.
