About us

The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust is a heritage conservation and education charity that runs ten museums in the Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Trust's Collections total more than 400,000 objects and include 35 listed buildings and scheduled monuments. All of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust's Collections are designated as being of national significance by Arts Council England.

Visitors to its museums can discover the fascinating stories of the innovators who shaped the world we know it today, be inspired by the artists, designers and makers who made the Ironbridge Gorge their home and turned it into a thriving creative hub, and step back in time to experience what life was like in a typical Shropshire community at the beginning of the 20th century.
