Museum raises more than £4,000 thanks to match-funding scheme
The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust recently took part for the first time in an innovative match-funding scheme which saw online donations made via the Big Give website doubled!
Many of our friends and supporters kindly made an online donation raising more than £2,000 which was then match-funded. This means more than £4,000 was raised for the Museum and its charitable work.
The money will help fund our exciting Science, Sport, Life programme of events which will be held in 2011 and will reach tens of thousands of people creating a lasting legacy which supports our commitment to inspiring educational and exhibition programmes.
