GOLF DAY – TEAMS ENJOY DAY AT HAWKSTONE PARK GOLF CLUB
Nearly 100 people supported the Museum's annual charity Golf Day in October which was held this year at Hawkstone Park Golf Club.
The autumnal weather was kind to the 24 teams who enjoyed a round of golf on the beautiful Championship Course.
The event, which raised more than £1,400 for the Museum, was won by an ADT team, with the Ironbridge Gorge Museums' team coming second and RAF Shawbury third.
Trevor Williams, Local Committee Chairman and organiser of the event, said: "This was a very enjoyable day and I really appreciate the number of businesses and individuals who supported the Museum. The money raised is vital in supporting the heritage conservation and education work that the Trust does."
