During the special weekends visitors can step back in time to watch the ladies of the town busily preparing seasonal goodies, listen to the townsfolk reciting festive stories or take note as they reveal the secrets of their old family recipes.
The Prince Albert Players will entertain townsfolk and visitors alike as they perform scenes from Dickens novels, plus there will be a town crier, traditional Morris Dancers and even the odd flurry of snow. Children can also visit Father Christmas in his grotto (additional charge of £3 per child) and see what gift he has brought for them, or take a donkey ride for a small extra charge, all adding to the festive pre-Christmas atmosphere in the traditionally decorated Victorian town.
Entry into Blists Hill Victorian Town is £10.50 for adults; £9.50 for seniors and £7.50 for children up to 18 years and in full time education; under 5s free. Passport Tickets are not valid for admission to Blists Hill Christmas weekends.
