Jiggers Bank Closure: To access Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron and Enginuity from the top of Jiggers Bank, please follow the well signed diversion. This will take you into central Ironbridge and then up Dale Road and into Coalbrookdale. The road closure is past the access point to the museums, so you will have no problems reaching the museums when approaching from Ironbridge town centre.
The Ironbridge Gorge is in Shropshire, 5 miles (8km) south of Telford Town Centre and is well signposted from M54, J4. When you leave M54 follow the brown and white tourism signs for Ironbridge Gorge. As you get closer to the Museums follow the specific signs:
For Blists Hill Victorian Town, Coalport China Museum and Tar Tunnel follow Blists Hill Museums
For Jackfield Tile Museum, Broseley Pipeworks, Museum of The Gorge and The Iron Bridge & Tollhouse follow Ironbridge Museums
For Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, Enginuity and Darby Houses follow Coalbrookdale Museums
Car Parking
There is car parking at, or near to, each of the Museums. One ticket, costing £1.50, is required to park at:
- Blists Hill Victorian Town
- Coalport China Museum & Tar Tunnel
- Jackfield Tile Museum
- Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron & Darby Houses
- Enginuity
- Broseley Pipeworks
However, the car parks adjacent to the Iron Bridge & Tollhouse and Museum of The Gorge are Local Authority Pay & Display.
Coach Parking is free at all car parks.

Public Transport - ‘Go Green’
The ten Ironbridge Gorge Museum sites are within an area of 6 square miles and transport is needed to travel easily between them.
By Bus
The Gorge Connect is a shuttle service that connects the majority of the Museums on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from Easter until October. It is free for Annual Passport Ticket holders.
Ironbridge Park & Ride is a regular service running Easter - October. Running every 12 minutes the buses connect the conveniently located Jiggers Bank car park (Sat Nav - TF4 3QE) with Coalbrookdale Museums, central Ironbridge and Museum of The Gorge. The service operates Weekends and Bank Holiday Mondays and daily during School Summer Holidays.
Ironbridge Park & Ride is FREE for everyone until 26 October 2013.

By Train
