The Ironbridge Gorge Museums offer excellent rates for groups of twenty or more, many daytime special events at no extra charge, special ticket offers and free coach parking. Meaning Ironbridge is a great day out for your group.
Planning Your Visit
The ten Ironbridge Gorge Museum sites are within an area of 6sq miles and you will need your coach to transport you from one to another. There is free coach parking at each museum.
If your group are visiting for a full day we suggest you’ll see three or four of the Museum sites. We can help you create an itinerary to make sure you all get the most out of your visit to Ironbridge.
We ask that you pre-book your visit to the Museums by calling The Group Visits Officer on 01952 435 900 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
On arrival at any museum site the group leader should report to the visitor reception where payment can be made for the whole group, this should be the full balance in one transaction. A single Group Ticket will be issued to cover entry to the relevant museums.
On arrival at the next museum the group leader should show the ticket in order to gain admission for the group.
Well informed guides are available for either a half or a full day and cover most of the museums. The cost is £1.50 per person for half a day or £2 for a full day with a minimum charge of £20 per tour. (These prices are in addition of admission fees).
The Ironbridge Gorge has been awarded the much coveted CPT’s ‘Coach Friendly Town Award’ by the Confederation of Passenger Transport (West Midlands Region).
