Is there a cash point or Bureau de Change in Ironbridge?
You can withdraw money over the counter at Ironbridge Post Office. There are also cash machines in the newsagents and chemists in Ironbridge town. There is a charge for using these machines.
Ironbridge Post Office also offers a Euro foreign exchange service.
The Post Office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 9.00am - 5.30pm (closed 1pm - 2pm), Wednesday 9.00am - 1.00 pm and Saturday 9.00am -12.30pm. It’s closed on Sunday.
Is there a park and ride in Ironbridge?
The Gorge Connect is a shuttle service that connects the majority of the Museums on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from Easter until October. It is free for Annual Passport Ticket holders.
Ironbridge Park & Ride is a regular service running Easter - October. Running every 12 minutes the buses connect the conveniently located Jiggers Bank car park (Sat Nav - TF4 3QE) with Coalbrookdale Museums, central Ironbridge and Museum of The Gorge. The service operates Weekends and Bank Holiday Mondays and daily during School Summer Holidays.
Ironbridge Park & Ride is FREE for everyone until 26 October 2013.

Does the Annual Passport ticket really have no time limit?
The Annual Passport ticket allows unlimited daytime visits to each of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums, during normal opening hours, for 12 months. After the 12 months have passed you are entitled to one visit to any site(s) that you have previously missed at any time in the future. For full terms and conditions call 01952 433 424.
Dogs on leads are welcome on the streets and footpaths at Blists Hill Victorian Town, but not inside the exhibits or cafes. Assistance Dogs are welcome at all sites.
What is there for my children to do?
During most school holidays there are family-friendly activities across many of the Museums. At Coalport China Museum and Jackfield Tile Museum you can get creative at drop-in ceramic workshops. Design and make workshops and interactive shows are held at Enginuity and you can try traditional trades at Blists Hill Victorian Town. Check out the Events Calendar for full details.
Throughout the year children will especially enjoy a visit to Blists Hill Victorian Town where there are many family-friendly activities including a Victorian Fairground and Horse & Carriage rides in the summer. There’s a dedicated Children’s Gallery at Coalport China Museum with fun themed-activities. Enginuity is ideal for children of all ages with lots of interactive exhibits and games to engage children's interest.
Children must be accompanied by an adult whilst visiting.
Are the Museums suitable for visitors with disabilities?
Whilst all sites have some form of access for visitors with disabilities, some are more accessible than others. The main access guide can be downloaded from this website or by calling Ironbridge Visitor Information Centre on 01952 433 424.
There are many hotels, B&Bs, guest houses and campsites within a few miles of the Museums. You can visit www.visitironbridge.co.uk or www.shropshiretourism.info for full accommodation listings.
The Museum sites are indoors, except for Blists Hill Victorian Town, which means there is plenty to see, even on a wet day.
There are ten Museums to visit so you will need a couple of days to see them all. These are our recommended visit times:

Is there a discount for a group visit?
We offer reduced admission rates for groups of twenty people or more. Group leaders and coach driver are given free admission. More details about group visits can be found in the Groups section on this website.
