Take part in amazing interactive activities to discover how our weather is shaped and the science behind its changing patterns. The drop-in Wild Weather family workshops will be held daily at Enginuity over the school summer holidays.
Questions such as where does snow come from and what makes thunder growl will be answered. You will also be able to witness how wind turbines turn to generate electricity, find out how a rainbow is made using prisms and see a hurricane being formed.
Craft materials such as paper, card and plastic will also be used to make your own kites, windmills and rainsticks.
While you're at Enginuity you can discover how a little ingenuity will empower you to pull a 10 ton locomotive by hand, generate electricity from flowing water, build and earthquake proof tower or challenge our robotic arm to test the speed of your reactions.
There's a soft play area for smaller children and a shop packed with great science, design & technology inspired toys.
Drop-in workshops take place daily from 10.30am - 3.45pm. Activities vary from day to day and have additional charges.
