enginuity opening

Enginuity is the Ironbridge Gorge Museum's hands-on design and technology centre which opened in August 2002. It was the centrepiece of a major £7 million building restoration scheme based at the Museum's Coalbrookdale ironworks site.

This was a place where ideas and technology came together and made it one of the great centres of innovation during the Industrial Revolution.

The aim of Enginuity was to take this spirit forward and promote interest in design and technology to new audiences through a combination of interactive exhibits, design and make activities and special events.

The IRONBRIDGE GORGE MUSEUM TRUST, Coach Road, Coalbrookdale, Telford, TF8 7DQ is a limited company registered in England under the Companies Act 1948 Reg No. 918560 and the Charities Act 1960 Ref No. 503717-R.
The Ironbridge Gorge is a World Heritage Site.
