October Half Term Programme At Ironbridge Valley Of Invention

This October Half Term we're embracing everything spooky about Ironbridge Valley of Invention. With Halloween themed events spanning all of our museums, there'll be something for everyone to get involved in between 22 - 30 October.

At Blists Hill Victorian Town, visitors will be able to see how the Victorians celebrated the spookiest time of year; take part in traditional parlour games and watch an authentic Victorian horror film - complete with a live musical accompaniment!

Children 4-7 are invited to attend our Coalbrookdale Cauldrons storytelling tour of the Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, between 24 - 28 October, whilst older children can take part in the Witch's Potion Trail.

Youngsters will also be invited to 'Make Your Mark!' at Enginuity, as they learn about how machines can help us to 'draw', and create some amazing art!

Our ever popular Clay Drop-In sessions will be returning to Coalport China Museum, where participants can take inspiration from local ghost stories as they mould their own creepy creatures from air-dry clay.

At Jackfield Tile Museum, visitors will be able to take part in pre-booked Ceramic Tile Decorating workshops; learning and applying the classic technique of tube-lining.

So join us this October half term, and make some memories you'll never forget!

KIDS EAT FREE AT IRONBRIDGE THIS OCTOBER

Younger visitors to Blists Hill Victorian Town and Coalbrookdale can eat for free next month as the museum launches its ‘Kids Eat Free’ scheme ahead of the October half term.
