| Victorian School Museum led (Winter) A Victorian Teacher will deliver selected activities in our original School House. Teachers choose from a list of lessons available. We provide costumes for all children and 2 adults. |

| Brick Making (February – October) Hand make a brick using traditional tools and techniques, and experience the working conditions endured by child labourers in a Victorian Brickworks. Bricks are taken home and should be fired or varnished when dry. |

| Tube lining tile decoration (wall tiles). A traditional technique where the designs is outlined with liquid clay and then the coloured sections are infilled with coloured slip before the tile is fired to achieve a high gloss finish. |

| Encaustic tile (floor tiles). One of the earliest techniques for producing a multicoloured design. The pattern is carved out of the mould and clay or slip is used to give the different sections colour. After drying the excess is scraped away and the tile is fired to a biscuit finish
