Blists Hill Victorian Town

Be transported back to a world of pounds, shillings and pence, where steam engines and horses powered industry and when shops, factories and homes were lit by gas and candles.

Explore our many exhibits and interact with costumed demonstrators and actors.

The site requires 2½ – 3 hours for a visit, covering an area of approximately 50 acres, mostly outdoors. You will need to be adequately dressed for the weather and for walking on unmade roads.

Maths Trail

Blists Hill Victorian Town Maths Trail  Prize Draw Rules

• This is a FREE ENTRY monthly Prize Draw for museum visitors aged 16 years and under only.
• The Draw will run from 1st April 2010 to 31st March 2011.
• A winning card will be chosen by an independent person on the last working day of each month.
• To enter, place a fully completed Maths Trail tear off slip which includes your full name, email address and phone number into the post box outside the Post Office on Canal Street at Blists Hill, or send in your completed card (available at Blists Hill Visitor Centre) to: Maths Trail Prize Draw, The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust, Coach Road, Coalbrookdale, Telford, Shropshire TF8 7DQ.
• Only one card per child, per month will be accepted.
• Please note employees of The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust and their families are exempt from this Draw.
• The prize is a complete Collectors set of token Victorian Coins issued by the Bank at Blists Hill and usable/redeemable only on site.
• Winners will be notified by phone or email within 28 days of the draw. Winners name and county will be available 28 days after the Draw – please send an SAE to the above address.
• The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
