The Museums provide inspiration and information across a range of curriculum topics from Art and Design, History and Geography to Design and Technology and Citizenship. The setting of the Gorge with many original buildings still in situ and the extensive and varied collections help to interpret this area of industrial growth and innovation. The costumed demonstrators at Blists Hill Victorian Town will happily bring to life the domestic and working conditions of the period. You have the opportunity to be immersed in the total experience.
You then come right back to the present where our national Design & Technology Centre encourages innovation and ‘having a go’.
The interpretation is helped by a choice of workshops and resources available at the five main sites
