Blists Hill Victorian Town is the place to immerse young children in a complete experience, with a range of houses, shops and factories showing all aspects of life in the late 19th Century. Costumed demonstrators carry out different domestic chores e.g. washing on Monday Cooking on Wednesday. The printing presses, candle dipping and decorative plaster casting can be seen most days.
There is a dedicated Children’s Gallery for under 7’s and impressive bottle kilns at Coalport China Museum.
Our Design & Technology Centre, Enginuity, is an obvious choice when encouraging young children to investigate everyday items.
Young Engineers is a dedicated soft play area for under 7’s that helps them develop their skills.
