Dismantling the Lightmoor engine

The flywheel of a Coalbrookdale beam engine being removed from Lightmoor Brickworks in 1929. It was transported to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, USA, before repatriation to the Museum of Iron in the 1980s.
