Maw and Co, fourfold fancy fleur de lys design

Maw and Co, plastic clay encaustic tile with fourfold fancy fleur de lys design in red and buff under a green translucent glaze, 6" square, c1870. A green glaze was used to imitate the use of copper based glaze on original medieval tiles.
