William Cook painted the flowers on the Northumberland Vase, one of the most spectacular pieces made at the Works. Another well-known artist Robert Abraham painted the cherubs on the reverse side. The vase was made for the 1862 International Exhibition and was later purchased by Lord Percy, Duke of Northumberland.
