The largest class of porcelain sent to the Chamberlains had been decorated with an underglaze blue design at Caughley, for the gilding to be added by the Chamberlains. The Dresden Flower design, shown here on a tureen and ladle and dating fromc1790-1792, is the most well-known blue and gilded Caughley design. Several variations of the Dresden Flower pattern were produced.
