A suite of four rooms with furniture by Leistler of Vienna formed part of the Austrian section. This state bedstead measured 11 feet by 9 feet and 13 feet high. Dickinsons' commentary was scathing – implying that people who liked it had more money than taste and valued quantity of ornamentation more highly than quality. In the centre of the picture, surrounded by women, is the eau-de-cologne fountain.
