Coalbrookdale Coalbrookdale

Coalbrookdale recently underwent a major refurbishment programme, painstakingly restoring the Grade II listed buildings to their former period magnificence.

In particular the Boardroom, which was the scene for some of the most creative thinking in Coalbrookdale industrial history, now reveals its beautiful oak floors and magnificent cast-iron fireplace, to give this room a muted splendour. Granted with a civil license, The Boardroom offers a beautifully appointed and unique venue for your wedding ceremony, with seating for up to 100 guests.

After the ceremony the Coalbrookdale Art Gallery provides a tranquil area for drinks and canapés, or can be used for a smaller more intimate ceremony for up to 50 guests. When the sun is shining, Guests can enjoy drinks on the Green while the wedding photographs are taken against a backdrop of historic monuments.

The Engine Shop can accommodate a ceremony for up to 400 guests, and together with the Enginuity museum can be hired exclusively after 5.oopm for your evening reception. The Covered Bays is a perfect space for smaller receptions of up to 100 and our team can tailor your entertainment and catering to whatever your budget or preference.
