 Blists Hill is an authentic reconstructed Victorian working town, complete with shops, a bank and a public house. Nestling at the bottom of the town, overlooking the Green and its traditional fun fair, the Forest Glen Refreshment Pavilion is an exquisite Victorian Tea Room. Licensed for Civil Ceremonies, it makes the perfect venue for an old-fashioned wedding.
The Club room, also licensed for civil ceremonies, is situated above the New Inn Public House and is a charming room, ideal for the smaller wedding.
You really can embellish your wedding at Blists Hill with drinks in the New Inn Pub (complete with Sawdust on the floor), and a blessing over the anvil! Or you can ride through the town on a horse and cart. The traditional funfair makes a great place for drinks after the ceremony and those all important photographs. Guests can hire actors and singers to provide entertainment, and really enhance that Victorian theme, for a wedding reminiscent of bygone days.
