Visitor Profile:

60% from outside the regional market, including 25% from London and the South East; 45% of visitors from Cl, C2 DE occupational groups (high for museum visiting).

Over 150 full-time equivalent jobs; a further 100 jobs in tenanted properties. With the Prince of Wales as its Patron, the Trust’s 16 Board Members are supported by around 200 staff, over 400 active volunteers ranging from trustees to steam engine drivers, and 2,000 members of its Friends organisation.
