Partners

The Museum is a long-term partner of the University of Birmingham, jointly managing and supporting the Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage.

The Museum works closely with Telford & Wrekin Council, Shropshire Council and the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust.

The Museum also plays an active role on the World Heritage Steering Group, the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the Telford and Wrekin area and the Cultural Consortium for Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

The Museum is represented on local and regional strategic tourism boards and organisations, including the Heart of England Attractions Ltd.

The Museum owns the two youth hostels in the Gorge, both of which are operated by the YHA.

The Museum is a partner in the national Children’s University initiative.
